Faculty

The section of pediatric cardiology includes 20 faculty members. All are full-time members of the Pediatric Department of Indiana University. Though each faculty member has general cardiology skills, personal interest and academic pursuits include cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, echo-Doppler, fetal echo, exercise stress testing, arrhythmia diagnosis and management, transplant care, and physiologic/hemodynamic research. There is close liaison with cardiovascular surgery, radiology, pathology, and cardiovascular anesthesia. There are also good working arrangements with neonatology, intensive care and all pediatric subspecialties, general pediatrics, adult cardiology, and basic sciences.
