As director of the Community Hospital NICU, Dr. Hertz is actively involved in developing community neonatal care programs affiliated with the section of Neonatology. Dr. Hertz has been director of Outreach Education and has traveled the state of Indiana promoting and conducting workshops for the Neonatal Resuscitation Training Program. Dr. Hertz initiated a Neonatal Newsletter that is published by the Neonatology Section and is mailed to Pediatricians throughout Indiana.
