Dr. Strand is an attending physician at Riley Hospital and the Medical Director of the University Hospital SCN. Dr. Strand's primary interests are breast milk for premature infants and delivery room resuscitation of low birth weight infants. She spends her clinical time talking with families prior to the delivery of their infant and attending high-risk deliveries. Dr. Strand also enjoys teaching medical students, residents and fellows in the area of neonatology, both at bedside rounds and in lecture settings. Additionally she directs the Neonatal Resuscitation Program for the Section of Neonatology with Dr. Byrne.
