Overview of the Clerkship

There are approximately 8 weeks in the clerkship. Half of this time will be spent on an assigned inpatient rotation. This will occur either at the James Whitcomb Riley Hospital for Children, Methodist Hospital, or Wishard Memorial Hospital. The remaining half of the clerkship is spent in ambulatory pediatrics, either in a private office or here at one of our IUMG sites.

Dr. Mitchell Harris is the Pediatric Clerkship Director. Sara Vitaniemi is the medical student coordinator for the department of pediatrics. Please contact her for all questions/inquiries regarding the clerkship, electives, and visiting student information.
