Medical Student Clerkship - MS III
Overview of the Clerkship
The Medical Student Clerkship at Indiana University School of Medicine is approximately 7 weeks long. Fifty percent of your time will be spent on an assigned inpatient rotation at Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health, IU Health Methodist Hospital or Eskenazi Hospital. All three hospitals are located within a 2 block radius on the Indiana University Medical campus in downtown Indianapolis. The other half of your clerkship will be spent in ambulatory pediatrics.
During the clerkship, all students are required to take the ACLS course or submit proof of current ACLS certification to the ACLS lab. This course is not connected to the pediatric course grade but must be completed before a grade can be issued.
