Riad Lutfi, MD, FAAP

Dr. Lutfi is a pediatric intensivist and the medical director of pediatric critical care transport at Riley Hospital for Children. He serves as an assistant professor of clinical pediatrics section of pediatric critical care at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He is interested in education, transport and pediatric resuscitation.

Associate Director, Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship Program

Dr. Abu-Sultaneh is a pediatric intensivist and the associate director of the pediatric critical care fellowship at Riley Hospital for Children. He built the education curriculum for the fellowship and continues to be actively involved in education with medical students, residents and fellows. He is interested in inter professional education, building education modules and protocols to improve the care for critically ill children.

Director of sedation and simulation program at Riley Hospital for Children

Dr. Kamal Abulebda is a pediatric intensivist and the medical director of pediatric sedation at Riley Hospital for Children. Dr. Abulebda is board certified in pediatric medicine and serves as an assistant professor of pediatric critical care medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He is interested in education, simulation and pediatric sedation.

Michele Kirby, RN, MSN, CCRN

Michele Kirby, RN, MSN, CCRN

Michele has 10 years of experience in Pediatric Critical Care nursing. She has worked in various settings and is currently a pediatric/neonatal critical care transport nurse of IU Health Lifeline. She is the co-chair for education and works to help bring simulation scenarios and new learning opportunities to all crew members. She has a Master’s Degree in Nursing Education.

Erin White, RN, BSN, CCRN

Erin White, RN, BSN, CCRN

Erin has 8 years of experience in Pediatric Critical Care nursing. She started her career in the IU Methodist, and then continued working as a PICU RN at Children’s National in Washington, D.C. Erin currently works at IU Health LifeLine Critical Care Transport. She has been involved in outreach and pediatric education with LifeLine in addition to working on transport.
