Chief Residents

Our Pediatric Chief Residents for 2016-2017 are Lindsey Haut, Erin Khan and Kristin Tiedt. IU Chief Residents complete an extra year to focus on resident education and program development.

Chief Resident

Lindsey moved to Indiana after completing her undergraduate and medical school training at the University of Iowa (Go Hawks!).  She enjoys traveling, home improvement projects, spending time with her friends and family, as well as pretending to be athletic.  She lives in Center Grove with her husband and their two dogs, Bentley and Josie. Lindsey plans to complete a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship following chief residency.

Erin Khan was born and raised in rural Kansas. She attended college at the University of Oklahoma and obtained her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine before coming to Indiana University. Erin loves crafting, baking, and spending time with her husband, a neurology resident, and their two rambunctious westies, Toby and Ellie. After her chief residency, she plans to complete a pediatric pulmonary fellowship and hopes to provide quality care for children with Cystic Fibrosis.

Kristin grew up in West Des Moines, Iowa.  She received her bachelors of science from the University of Iowa where she stayed on to obtain her medical degree prior to moving to Indianapolis.  Kristin enjoys traveling with her husband, baking, reading and going on walks with her spirited golden retriever, Hudson.  Following her chief residency, Kristin will continue her career as a pediatric hospitalist.
