Chief Residents
Our Pediatric Chief Residents for 2011-12 are Andy Beardsley, Amanda Didolkar, and Meagan O'Neill.

Meagan O'Neill is originally from Angola, Indiana, though she travelled further south for college at Vanderbilt University, where she studied Biological Sciences and Women's Studies, and also met her husband, Michael. She completed medical school and residency at Indiana University School of Medicine. In their spare time, Meagan and Mike enjoy going to the movies, singing in the church choir, or spending time at the bark park with their hound dog, Ozzie. They also have two cats, Fred and Elliott, and welcomed their first child Jillian this fall. |

Andrew Beardsley is from Frankfort, IN. He earned degrees in Biology and Spanish at DePauw University, and spent a semester abroad in Spain. He graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2008 and went on to IU's Pediatric Residency Program, finishing in 2011. He and his wife, Theresa, have two sons, Jacob and Ben. Andrew enjoys spending time with family, gardening, fishing and biking. After completing the year as Chief Resident, he will pursue a career in pediatric critical care. |

Mandy Didolkar was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She spent her undergraduate years at the University of Pennsylvania, where she was captain of the field hockey team. After college, Mandy moved to Baltimore, Maryland to attend medical school at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, where she met her husband, Parijat. She and Parijat were excited to match at IU and start their lives together in the Midwest. In August, Mandy and Parijat welcomed their first child, James Parijat “JP”. In her spare time, Mandy enjoys running, playing intramural sports around Indy, spending time with her family and traveling. |
