Dear Colleague:

The doctors of the Pediatric Gastroenterology Section at Riley Hospital at IU Health embrace a three-part mission:

  • Give our patients excellent and comprehensive medical care
  • Provide family-centered care for our patients
  • Advance knowledge in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition

Our award winning team of physicians and staff evaluate patients with a variety of gastrointestinal, liver and nutritional disorders. We see patients at Riley Children’s Hospital, IU North Hospital, Saxony Hospital, South Bend Clinic, IU Health Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, and at Southern Indiana Pediatrics in Bloomington. Additionally, we have a large endoscopic practice, with a highly professional and efficient system and many years of experience.

For several years now, we have been named as one of the top pediatric gastroenterology programs in the nation by US News and World Report. Our faculty is also regularly acknowledged for their professionalism, skill and knowledge by being named some of the Top Doctors in Indianapolis and Top Doctors in the nation. We have also been recognized for our efforts in medical education with multiple teaching awards.

At the national level, our faculty gastroenterologists and hepatologists serve as leaders in the national pediatric GI organization NASPGHAN and our pediatric GI faculty participate in several national multicenter research networks. Numerous important publications in inflammatory bowel disease, liver diseases, eosinophilic diseases, to name a few, have come from our center. Our physicians are dedicated to clinical research because of the knowledge it generates and the opportunities it affords our patients.

We are proud of our academic pediatric gastroenterology team. Our group is a growing, dynamic Section of IUSM pediatrics and we look forward to an exciting future. We would be pleased to share more information with you in order to serve you or your patients. Please feel free to call our office and thank you for visiting our website.

Sincerely,

Jean Pappas Molleston, M.D.
