Children with Special Health Care Needs
About Special Kids (ASK) is a collaborative effort that provides information and support to help families and health care professionals in Indiana who have children with special needs. ASK helps answer questions and provides information on how to access resources on a variety of topics such as health insurance, special education, community resources and medical homes. The Center for Youth and Adults with Conditions of Childhood (CYACC) is a multi-disciplinary team of health care professionals who provide care and counseling for youth ages 11-22 with special health care needs such as a chronic condition, illness or disability. CYACC also provides education on independent living, healthy habits and community life for youth with special needs who are transitioning from adolescence into adulthood. La Plaza Hispanic Education Center – La Plaza provides essential high-quality health and social services to meet the needs of Latino families in the Indianapolis area. Services include support for:
- Mental Health Services
- Pediatric Clinics

The Julian Center supports victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other life crises. Their mission is to provide the services victims need to recover and build a life absent of abuse. Those services include counseling, safe shelter, case management, advocacy, education, transitional housing, and affordable housing. The Julian Center is one of the largest facilities of its kind in the country and has been nationally recognized as a model for communities seeking to improve their responses to domestic violence.
