Brian Leland is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Section of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. He completed his fellowship training in Pediatric Critical Care at Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis IN. Additionally, he serves as associate fellowship director for the Fairbanks Clinical Medical Ethics Fellowship. Dr. Leland is passionate about the application and integration of ethical principles as they pertain to management of pediatric patients, with particular interests in trust-building in the doctor-patient relationship as well as the effects of physical touch between caregiver and child during hospitalization.
